As we move into June, the SCCA training School has completed and we know who won Indy and the NASCAR races from the weekend. June for Red Light is a light month for the Corner staff. The next 3 events are for Rescue staff with Corners being handled by others.
The BMW event went well with a small number of tows and no major incidents to speak of. The biggest issue was the birth of a fawn on Saturday morning in the infield. This provided a great deal of concern, as between momma and child they had issues with getting across track safely. Then once across we had issues with them re-crossing during the day Saturday and Sunday. All things considered they were still safe and we did get some interesting photos, but there were a few moments the were a little tense.
