Deployment Updates

Current NewsHey Guys! Well it has been a really hard week so far. I took Larry to Camp Ripley on 21 Sept 2005 and it pretty much tore my heart out. He arrived at Camp Shelby on 24 Sept 05 just after the brunt of hurricane Rita. He says that the damage was pretty devistating. I could hear the wind when I talked to him on the phone so it was still hitting them there. He said that the winds were suppose to get up to about 80 mph last night. You could also hear the simulation of gun fire and bombs in the background as we were on the phone. At one point it was lound enough that my ear was ringing for a few minutes. He will be at Camp Shelby for 5 months and at Fort Polk for 1 month and then Iraq for a year. I have his address I will post it as soon as I have it handy. I will stay in touch and keep you all updated as much as possible. Keep him in your prayers.

Thanks everyone I will miss you all. Hope to see you for LSPR

Just an update: Laurie packed her things (sans: horse) and took Granny back home as well. By the time of the posting of this comment, she should be in Texas with her grandparents, Bear and her stuff. Being that her horse is still stabled in MN She'll be swinging by until a different home is found.
