Donnybrooke completes their season at BIR

The Donnybrooke Race School finished their season at BIR quietly. With only a couple of flat tows near the end of the day (gas, it's more than just a good idea) the day was uneventful. Lunch was shortened considerably as the day had started late because of the wet front straight. Coupled with the Division 5 finals having been run on Saturday and Sunday the front straight was ripe for a crash. Thankfully that was not the case. As for the lunch issue: we'll have to look for better options there as that translated to cold food and no real break.

The School is happy with our efforts and we have been asked to return next year. It will be interesting to see what the track does for the season next year as there is a rumor floating that they wish to run a 22 week drag season. With only 26 weekends between mid April and mid October it could get interesting to see what gets worked out. Stay tuned for details as they are known....
